Jeld-Wen Shopping for New Site
A report from the Columbus Dispatch says window and door manufacturer Jeld-Wen is considering an Etna, OH, business park site as a possible home for an additional manufacturing and distribution center.
The Klamath Falls, OR-based producer was granted a tax credit by the Ohio Department of Development to set up shop in Etna, near Columbus, but the company has not yet decided where specifically it will land, according to the paper. The report does note, however, that the company may lease as much as 200,000 square feet and require as many as 130 employees.
Jeld-Wen already has a 250-person operation in Mount Vernon, OH, located northeast of Columbus, but is reportedly considering sites in Indiana and Michigan as well.
