Christina Lewellen,
senior editor
of Window & Door | I don’t know about you all, but this economy is really getting to me emotionally. It was tough to swallow gas prices above $4—even $3.99 is easier to accept than $4.01—and, like everybody, I’ve been watching my grocery bills creep higher for months.
Builders don’t have a ton to be happy about in this economy, for sure. NAHB’s Housing Market Index, which measures builder confidence, slumped again this month, dipping to a new record low and showing no signs of improving in the near future.
Gosh, that’s depressing.
I tend to be a pretty positive person by nature, but a girl can only read her Wall Street Journal headlines for so long before they take the fun out of her morning coffee. How about you? Are you losing your ability to maintain your “we’ve gotta be near the bottom” semi-positive attitude? Send me an email to share.
