Next week is the International Builders' Show. Not surprisingly, as home sales have declined in recent years, so has attendance at this show. One thing I've noted in recent years, however, is that exhibitors and attendees have maintained a relatively positive attitude. Traffic was down at the past two shows in Orlando, but there was little talk of "doom and gloom."

I must admit, heading to Las Vegas next week, I'm a bit more apprehensive. What about you? If you're a past exhibitor or attendee at IBS, are you expecting a major change in the atmosphere in Las Vegas? That's our poll question for the week. Of course, I'd like to hear from you too. We'll be reporting from IBS next week, so we want to share lots of stories. If you're exhibiting, what is your company focusing on for the 2009 event? If you're walking the floor, what are you looking for? Email me and let me know.
