"The word is out and it's amazing how the phone is just ringing off the hook!" That's what one manufacturer that offers windows qualifying for the new tax credit recently told me. One glass supplier also reported a significant uptick in window manufacturer inquiries into its higher-performance low-E products.

I suspect the sudden shift to the 30/30 requirements in the stimulus package has a number of companies scrambling for new sources of supply. But I thought I would use this week's poll to get a better handle on the situation.

And if you'd like to share your stories, we'd love to hear them. Are you looking for new vendors? Are you seeing a surge in calls from customers looking to meet the new requirements? Send me an email and tell me about it.
