Every once in a while, we step outside of the realm of window and door-related topics to explore something that gives us a feel for our readers. Given that I'm not much of a football fan, I thought that would make me the best one (for impartiality's sake) to ask the question of the hour—Packers or Steelers?

Now I will admit that I'll be cheering for the Packers by default. My husband's grandfather played for Green Bay so we're a green and yellow house by blood. Mostly, I'm just glad for an excuse to make chili and watch the commercials.

Speaking of Super Bowl ads, I read that advertisers are coming out in full force on February 6th. The championship games got great audiences and network executives must be expecting an even better viewership for the big showdown.

I may be opening the proverbial can of worms, but after you vote in this week's poll, take a moment to comment or email me on why you're expecting your team to pull off a victory. What are your Super Bowl-watching traditions? And keep it clean or I'll definitely throw a flag on the play!
