The Talk

By Emily Kay Thompson
Every year, Window & Door magazine takes its last issue of the year to recognize what window and door retailers are doing to make a difference for their customers as well as for their contributions to the industry and their communities. We share their stories in our Dealer of the Year Awards coverage to provide a benchmark for excellence and to raise the standards of professionalism and knowledge in the industry. (Reminder: The deadline for 2017 nominations is just a few days away. Enter by July 17!)
This year, we want to raise our bar, too, in terms of how we acknowledge our Dealers of the Year. Together with the Window & Door Dealers Alliance, we will host the first ever Dealer of the Year Awards Reception. We invite all of you to raise a glass to past honorees as well as this year’s winners during Window & Door Dealer Days, held September 12-13 in Atlanta at GlassBuildAmericaRead More

The September issue of Window & Door magazine will explore this topic and how it relates to the fenestration industry. As part of that coverage, we want to hear from you. Do you utilize any elements of the Internet of Things in your work in the window and door industry? Weigh in on this month’s poll, post a comment and/or send an email with your thoughts.
