New Home for Windflite

Winsys computer software provider Windflite Computer Systems Inc. has moved its corporate offices to a new 1.6 acre campus in Bartonville, IL. The short-distance move from its former Peoria, IL, location will allow the company more space as it continues to grow.

“The new campus has allowed us to expand and enhance our training center, provide an optimum work environment for our team members and allow for significant future expansion without relocation,” says Andy Hodge, Windflite president.

The company reports that its telephone and fax numbers, as well as its Internet address, were not affected by the move, which was completed Oct. 1.
The building was originally constructed in 1949 as a residence hall serving the Peoria State Hospital. The structure was gutted and rebuilt to state-of-the-art specifications for Windflite.

Hodge says the company maintained its current employee roster and plans to supplement its technical staff moving forward as it finds ideal candidates.

Windflite introduced Winsys to the vinyl window manufacturing industry in 1989. Key elements of the software include a factory-based production and accounting system, a dealer-based remote order entry tool and an Internet-based remote order entry and backlog inquiry tool.
