Stock Building Picks up North Carolina Window and Door Distributor

Lee Window and Door Co. of Sanford, NC, is now part of the Stock Building Supply family of building material suppliers. The company distributes and installs high-end residential and commercial windows and doors. In 2005, it logged sales of $8.3 million.

“The acquisition of Lee gives us a solid platform upon which to build and expand our commercial window sales program,” says Fenton Hord, Stock CEO and president.

Raleigh, NC-based pro dealer Stock Building Supply now operates more than 300 locations in 33 states, with reported sales of $5.3 billion for the 2006 fiscal year.
