Fenestration Industry Anticipates First Wave of New Products at 2007 Builders' Show

More than 100,000 attendees are expected at the 2007 International Builders' Show, to take place in Orlando, FL, February 7-10. Hosted by the National Association of Home Builders, the trade show this year features a record-breaking 1,800 exhibitors from the light construction business, including an expected 200 window & door manufacturers. Most of these exhibitors plan each year to unveil their most exciting new products, services, designs and technologies at this show.

"The International Builders' Show continues to grow because it is the event of the year for builders who want to stay on the cutting edge," said NAHB President David Pressly, a home builder from Statesville, N.C. "With 450 new exhibitors, an impressive lineup of speakers and some truly amazing show homes, we expect this year's show to be the best yet and certainly not one to miss."

Window & Door magazine will feature in its January issue a preview article for IBS, including a special product preview section. If you are an exhibitor and would like to see your product featured, please click here to email Window & Door managing editor, Pete Frank, for details.

According to an NAHB press release, the show will feature nextBUILD, the newly renamed technology component of IBS, which will showcase more than 200 exhibitors. Attendees can also choose from more than 290 educational sessions and have the opportunity to earn credit toward a professional designation by attending pre-show educational seminars. And for the first time ever, IBS will feature two showcase homes—one new and one remodeled.

The show will take place at the Orange County Convention Center, one of the country's largest convention centers. It is not open to the public; online registration ends January 5, 2007. Click here for more information.
