e-Poll
Where do you rest on the licensing spectrum?
We’re licensed and we install.
We sell to licensed contractors only.
There’s no licensing in our area, but we wish there was.
Our installers are factory-trained and/or certified, and that’s enough for us.
Too many firms will sell to anybody, so we have to also.
Licensing is just a lot of paperwork—it doesn’t really matter to the buyer.

Azek Trimboards’ Parent Company Re-Brands

Vycom Corp., parent company of Azek Trimboards, has renamed itself Azek Building Products Inc. to reflect the company’s continued growth in the building products industry. Azek Building Products is a wholly owned subsidiary of CPG International, and owns the Azek Trimboards brand.

“This name change reflects the dynamic business in which we are continuing to grow and be identified as a leader in branded, low-maintenance exterior building products,” says Ralph Bruno, president of the company. “Other than the name change, the personnel, direction and mission of our company—to be the leading brand of exterior building products—remain the same.”

More than 1,700 professional lumberyards throughout the United States and Canada sell Azek trim products.
