Medieval Glass Buys Dinesol Doorlites

Decorative glass manufacturer Medieval Glass Industries has acquired a company that will allow it to provide its customers with commodity clear glass doorlites as well. Medieval purchased Youngstown, OH-based Dinesol Doorlites in October. The company did not disclose the terms of the deal.

“Although now branded with the MGI name, Dinesol Doorlites will continue in what they do best,” said Richard McMahon, Medieval’s director of sales. “However, this venture will take Medieval to the next level of serving our customers and become a major player in the building products millwork industry in the next 20 years.”

Medieval has developed partnerships with other manufacturers—Koch & Co., Seiki Screens, SGO, Doorways USA—to offer to its customers a full line of exterior and interior doors, retractable screens, stain glass overlays and other related door products, such as between-the-glass miniblinds.

Medieval, headquartered in Delta, BC, Canada, and Estherville, IA, employs nearly 800 employees in Canada, India, China and the United States.
