GED Relocates Vinyl Equipment Manufacturing

GED Integrated Solutions will move its vinyl equipment manufacturing operations from Hauppauge, NY, to its corporate headquarters in Twinsburg, OH, as of April 1.

“We sell to our customers the benefits of integrating the glass and vinyl fabrication sides of their operations and incorporating lean manufacturing practices wherever possible,” says Ron Auletta, president and CEO. “We’re putting those same practices to work for us and the benefit of our customers. By placing operations under one roof, we improve key areas of our process, including research and new product development, manufacturing and customer service.”

The company reports that customer support services will remain unchanged—all inquiries should continue to be directed to the phone tech support group at 330/963-5401.

The New York facility was the one-time headquarters of Sampson Automation Co., which GED acquired in 2004.
