Stock Buys Albuquerque Door

National pro dealer Stock Building Supply has purchased Albuquerque Door, a company that prehangs exterior and interior doors, distributes vinyl windows and manufactures architectural millwork items for national and custom builders in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe, NM, markets. The companies did not disclose terms of the transaction.

Albuquerque Door operates one location in Albuquerque and was previously owned by
Orepac Building Products, a privately held firm based in Oregon. All senior management is expected to remain with the company.

Stock Building Supply, Raleigh, NC, operates 321 locations in 34 states and had sales of $5.3 billion in 2006.
