New Ownership for Quebec-based Macyro Group

Red Holdings Group Inc., a Florida-based investment company, has entered into an agreement to purchase The Macyro Group Inc., a Quebec-based manufacturer of aluminum curtain walls, panels, windows and doors for use in commercial and residential construction. The company goes to market through its subsidiary Gamma Industries Inc. In recent years, Gamma has built a strong business in the southeast United States, which now accounts for more than 70 percent of its sales.

The Macyro Group is also a 20 percent owner of Solaris Québec Inc., a producer of PVC doors and windows for residential construction. Solaris serves the Quebec area and has partnered with several major American distributors to provide products to the Midwest.

The transaction should close within 90 days, the companies report.
