Efco Offers Employees On-Site Healthcare

Healthcare is now a little easier for the 1,600 employees and their families who work at Efco Corp.’s Monett, MO, facility. The architectural manufacturing company has entered into an agreement with a local healthcare services provider to open an on-site healthcare clinic, offering primary medical care with reduced co-payments and easy scheduling.

The employee clinic opened recently in a freestanding building on the grounds of the company headquarters. It is staffed by employees of CoxHealth Business Connections, an initiative of health insurance provider CoxHealth. “We have been thinking for some time of ways to better manage our healthcare expenditures, while at the same time increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the care provided to our many employees and their dependents,” says Dean Orem, Efco’s vice president of human resources. “Our strong relationship with both CoxHealth and CoxHealth Business Connections has allowed us to jointly develop a concept that will serve our employees and their dependents well for years to come.”

Efco manufactures architectural aluminum windows, curtain wall, storefront and entrance systems for commercial and architectural applications.
